It also helped the Phoenix-based organization reach the No.32 in terms of ranking in the IT list of large companies on Computerworld’s 2018 best places to work at.

Making a difference can come in various forms. Whether it is coming up with new systems that will help in the transformation of patient care. An example of this being the health group’s Sepsis Bio Surveillance agent which was an analytics effort that provided early caution in the form of alerts that helped identify patients who were at the risk of facing septic shock. The Perinatal Predictive use case which is an analytical model that helps to calculate the probabilities of complex fetal complications. The Dignity Health IT employees make a huge difference serving the patients and the public in general.

Deanna Wise who is the executive vice president and CIO for the fifth- largest health system in the U.S. with nearly sixty thousand employees and they also have an IT staff population of around thousand five hundred. These companies empower people and motivate them to participate and solve issues.

The staff working at these IT companies are motivated to serve the community through charity events that are sponsored by the company. The IT team recently participated in a local program that helped feed many hungry children and it was all done during company time and not during the weekends or after work hours.

Cheryl Martin who is an application systems analyst felt that commitment to being kind and the community render a culture that will make her proud to be a member of the Dignity Health IT team. She has been working in the IT health care for about 27 years. She worked at Dignity Health for 20 years. She is also a Dignity Health IT employee who work mostly from her home office.
